About Us
Vermont Mental Health Clinic (VMHC) strives to provide the highest mental health services that the industry has to offer. We are a small collection of social workers and medical providers intent on delivering psychiatric services such as evaluations, assessments, psychotherapy, medicine management and treatment planning for adolescents, adults, and families. We are committed to a strength-based practice that is steeped in compassion and respect for the people we serve.
Company Overview
Our team at VMHC provides direct service in the fields of clinical social work and psychiatry. We work with individual clients to perform psychiatric evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans to help our patients achieve a greater sense of mental health and general well-being.
We are a client-centered strengths-based clinic that strives to orchestrate individualized services for each person who consults with us. People have inherent dignity and strengths that give them the capacity to take full responsibility for their own mental health and well-being.
We believe that medications sometimes can be an important part of a holistic approach to mental health as people work toward a sense of well-being. We firmly believe in the right of every individual to determine the direction and the nature of their own treatment and that they should define the terms of their own recovery.

We value an interdisciplinary team approach to our treatment planning
Services Provided
We provide an interdisciplinary array of human services here at Vermont Mental Health Clinic. We provide psychiatric services along with clinical social work assessments, screenings, and ongoing psychotherapy. Our medical psychiatric services include assessment and screenings, ongoing medical management, psychiatric consultation, and psychotherapy. We also provide transitional services to integrate individuals back into the community as they step down from inpatient treatment. We also offer case management services, treatment planning, and referrals.
Our Philosophy
The meaning that we give the events in our lives shape the story is that we tell and believe about ourselves. These stories can be rewritten so that they reflect a more compassionate and forgiving attitude, allowing for emotional freedom and an expanded sense of self.
With our consultation, we are hoping to leave you with an expanded sense of self-worth and an increased sense of self-esteem with the recognition that you are able to rewrite the narrative of your own life.
